New Image

Montoursville, PA - Faith United Methodist Church of Montoursville has a dream that no one in our community would go to bed hungry.  With that dream and two years of planning in place they have recently opened a food bank named Harvest of Hope located at Faith Church, 700 Fairview Drive in Montoursville.  Jersey Shore State Bank has donated $10,000 over a 5-year period to help Faith United Methodist Church make that dream a reality.  “JSSB knows how important it is to give back to our community and we were very happy to assist with such an important project”, stated Garrett Sanner, Regional President of Jersey Shore State Bank.  This food bank located in Montoursville can now reach and better service students, families and individuals in the local area.

Present to accept the check on November 13, 2018 from Jersey Shore State Bank were Pastor of Faith United Methodist Church, Jake Waybright, Co-Chairs of Harvest of Hope, Sharon Atherholt and Jane Zimmerer.
